NSD-2025: Summary
The theme for NSD - 2025 is 'Empowering Indian Youth for Global Leadership in Science & Innovation for Viksit Bharat' URSC has been celebrating National Science Day every year by organising events / competitions / programmes for school students and teachers. This year too, an elaborate plan was made to conduct the events. Brochure containing details of all the events was circulated to schools. Online registration was sought from students and teachers to participate in the events. More than 700 registrations were received from schools across Karnataka and also from a few schools in Tamil Nadu.

NSD - 2025 celebrations came to an end with the valedictory programme held on 28th February 2025 at URSC. Chief Guest Prof. G.Srinivasan, former research scientist at the Raman Research Institute, Bangalore delivered a very intriguing talk on the topic 'Where did Earth's water come from?'. Students paid careful attention to the facts presented in the talk and had a stream of questions to ask the Chief Guest during the interactive session. Prize winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd and consolation) of the various events held earlier were felicitated during the valedictory programme. NSD - 2025 was celebrated in a grand manner with the active involvement of the organising committee, students and teachers.
