As part of the holistic education concept of NEP-2020, students will be provided opportunity for internships at industry/organisation in order to help them get exposure to practical side of learning.
URSC, one of the leading Centres of ISRO, provides opportunity for student's community to carry out Internship as well as project work as part of their academic curriculum.
Internship Scheme:
Internship Opportunity is provided UG/PG/PhD student. The period of Internship will be for a minimum period of 15 days and maximum period of 45 days.
Following are the guidelines for pursuing Internship in URSC:
- The candidate should be Citizen of India
- The candidate should be pursuing UG/PG/PhD from a recognized University/Institution (India/Abroad)
- The candidate should have completed UG/PG from a recognized University/Institution, seeking internship opportunity within 6 months from the date of completion of Course.
OR
The candidate should be a student enrolled for regular on-campus programme in a recognized University/Institution
OR
The candidate should have completed UG/PG/PhD as a regular on campus student
- No Stipend, transport & canteen facility will be provided during the training
Please note:
- Students will be allotted internship work at URSC based on the availability of projects, facilities and suitability of student's course to the work carried out at URSC.
- The allotment of internship will be on first come first serve basis only and the availability of number of slots per year is limited.
- Students studying in 5th Semester or 3rd Year onwards are eligible for applying.
- The interns will not be provided any kind of financial assistance like stipends and accommodation.
For students who wish to avail of Internship opportunities at URSC between January-June 2025, the
portal will re-open on the 1st of November 2024 at 10:00 hrs.
Student Project Trainee Scheme:
Opportunity will be provided for UG/PG/PhD students to carry out their final year/semester project work as per the eligibility criteria mentioned below:
